Hi prairie friends! My name is Cindy, and I’m a writer who has a passion for the Midwestern tallgrass prairie, the landscape of the little corner of the world where I live and work. Every Tuesday, I encourage you to take a moment and enjoy a few words, images, and experiences from the Illinois prairie that we’ll “hike” together. As the year unfolds, you’ll follow the prairie through all four diverse seasons.
